You have nothing else to watch?, watch this... Hayden should be the only driving force to watch, for those who had watched this..
An hour and seventeen minute movie that drags. That's just sad. I think the writer wrote a beginning and an end, and just stuffed as much filler in the middle as possible. It still came up short.
What really happened to Hayden Panettiere's character? Because after the end scene, I was confused.
Starts out looking like a black comedy, then takes enough twists and turns to qualify as a decent thriller. Red herrings and multiple suspects keep you guessing. Hayden Panettiere isn't as prominent as the promos would have you believe.
Not bad, but when you find out who the kidnapper is in the end, it kind of made me hate the whole thing.

This film tries to do way too much. The plot direction is all over the place. The dialogue at times is bad, and some of the characters even though advertised as real people, come off as fantasy characters at the most.Among these characters are two cops who make the two cops from "Super Bad" look like Einsteins. On the other hand, the acting is good, on behalf of Tim Daly, Sarah Steele, William Sadler, and of course Hayden Pantierre, the rest of the supporting cast range from average to mediocre. The film itself deals with issues that are definitely not appropriate for everyone, and in fact could be considered disturbing. i will not dwell into these issues i will just simply refer you to watch if not read the plot summary of "The Quiet" on Wikipedia and then you will have an understanding of what your getting into with this film, however this film implies alot more, than it actually displays, which works in it's favor. Otherwise i don't think this film would have been appropriate at all.
Overall a decent film that i wouldn't recommend, but a person would probably see anyways out of mere curiosity as fans of one of the films stars. Which in that case, Hayden Pantierre fans will feel a little disappointed because out of the good performances i mentioned above, she has the least amount of screen time.
The ambiguity of the film will either cause you to like it, or find it fustrating. I found it fustrating.
Not a terrible movie, but you seem to lose direction with what really happened to the cheerleader (not that Hayden Panettiere is being stereo-typed). I'm a Tim Daly fan, so I thought he was very good!

The obvious selling point here is Hayden, but considering she is kidnapped she's MIA for 90% of the movie. Although she does look damn hot the other 10%. Beyond that there isn't much here.
