I cry during 99% of the movies I watch, it's just something I do. Not saying that because I didn't or don't cry makes that movie a bad one, it just didn't get to me like others do. I didn't cry. I don't think the audience has enough time to get involved with the characters, the movie is pretty much stunts all the way through, so when the tragic event took place, I didn't cry. I think the acting is good, some of the lines are a bit cliche. Kellan Lutz was wonderful, incase anyone Netflixed this movie just for that reason... of which I was one. :)
The scenery is beautiful! I think that is the best part of the whole movie. Kudos to the director for getting some fantastic shots! Some of the angles were really awkward. For instance, at one point, you were skiing down the mountain with Tyler (Eric Lively), which was awkward. I didn't really appreciate that. I want to watch them do it, not feel like I'm sliding to my own death down a solid sheet of arctic tundra. No thank you.
The soundtrack is pretty cool, I'm not a huge fan of that generic rock stuff, but it fit the movie well.
I think there was an overuse of drugs that was extremely unnecessary, for serious, get rid of the dang bong. I didn't mind the drinking but the weed was stupid.
Overall, it's a good movie. I would probably recommend this movie to my friends who ski and snow board though, it's not for everyone.
This is a movie for fans of skiing and snowboarding. I appreciate the sports and the skill involved, but I'm not one of those people that gets excited about jumps and such. With that being said, I enjoyed this for the story (and I will admit I cried)... (read more) This is a movie for fans of skiing and snowboarding. Kellan Lutz is hot, as always, and his friendship with Eric Lively is really believeable.

The scenery was beautiful and I absolutely love watching extreme sports, so it was so much fun to see what people could do w/ their bodies and skies, or boards!! Very much fun!!
Sad twist, but it was a good movie.
Going outside in the snow, if it comes, is more fun than watching this
