(read more) I saw the first 2-hours of this 5-hour documentary as part of the 2008 Cambridge Film Festival and it offers a fascinating glimpse into the early days of Hollywood breaking the mammoth story into small chapters, each covering an important part of the WB history.

The film is comprised of clips from their groundbreaking films and archive interviews featuring Hitchcock, Edward G. Robinson and many many other golden greats. Clint Eastwood narrates, adding some real Hollywood weight to the proceedings.

As a fan of film, it was wonderful to see so many talked about moments in cinema history up on the big screen again and the HD projection that we were treated to was incredible.
