.oO( verrY funnY & mOving.,Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock have really great chemistry...=)
Typical Bullock film with typical ending. Predictable but entertaining.
Not a fan of romantic comedies what-so-ever, but this was actually entertaining.

The best part of The Proposal was that I drank lots of sake while watching it.

I feel kinda duped, though, by the way the Blu-ray disc included an "alternate ending". I told my wife that it sure would be awesome if they had an ending where nobody got together in the end and they threw in some ninjas - no such luck with this so called "alternate ending".
It's so so so boring. The only thing that attrats me is the majestic scenery of Atlasca.
There's nothing new in this tear-jerking, romantic comedy - except the disproportionate fact that none of the actor's ages really fit those of their character's... And on a serious note, Malin Akerman puts in the best performance of the film...
I like both the actors, but this was just disappointing. a thin, weak storyline with no substance, as if the backstory or any scenes with depth ended up on the cutting room floor. A predictable ending that managed to be entirely unconvincing.
Somehow I would expect it to be funnier, livelier, more original with all the rave reviews I have been hearing. However, I found it all too predictable although there are some genuine laughs here and there.

So keen to be cute it curdles our stomachs and so anxious to be funny it jellifies our funny bones.full review
Without question this riotously funny flick is the year's best comedy -- at least so far.full review
A romantic comedy doesn't need to be original to be enjoyable, and yet The Proposal still falls way too short of the mark.full review
It isn't a film with a lot of big guffaws, but I smiled through most of it.full review
Onscreen chemistry is an elusive notion but you know it when you see it, and Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds definitely have it in The Proposal.full review
Though it falls short of winning our hearts completely, The Proposal is a serviceable and intermittently funny romance made enjoyable by the sparks between Bullock and Reynolds.full review

Every scene between Bullock and Reynolds only suggests how fine they might be in good circumstances.full review
