It also features the definitive performance of legendary Bill Hicks. The Heavyweights of Comedy: "Fat is where it's at!" This heavy film was shot on the same weekend as Comedy's Dirtiest Dozen. It features 8 of the heaviest and funniest comedians ever. Among these comedians are some rare jewels, including Bob Woods who died in 1990 . Woods' comic impression of Jackie Gleason is considered among comedians as the definitive Gleason impersonation of all time. You will also recognize Tim O'Rourke as the bartender from the "Drew Carey Show" and Thea Vidale who had her TV series, "Thea". This uncensored, no holds barred comedy film ends in a comic feast so large that even the chairs could not hold them.

In the line up 0f 12 comedians are a 21 year old Chris Rock, a pre-home improvment Tim Allen and of course the legendary Bill Hicks. Each comedian is described as being controversial, dirty and crude. Unfortunatley only a small handful of the comedians actually manage to deliver the laughs and live up to the description. The idea for this showcase is great but because each comedian is given between 7 to 10 minutes each, it becomes hard to adjust to their style and humour. Without a doubt, Bill Hicks and Tim Allen steal the show but due to set times the range of subjects are limited. This movie is definatley worth a watch but it's not the sort of movie to write home about.
with the exception of Bill Hicks, Chris Rock, Tim Allen, and the puppet act of Otto & George, there really isn't munch of thats great in the show. However, any footage of Bill Hicks performing is always a good thing so i'll give it 4 stars
