Fantastically fun flick! And sweet, too. Surprise find while trawling Netflix, very glad I stumbled across it!
impressive story written by a nine year old....tried to find the book in the public library but was unsuccessful.

This is a very unique take on story-telling because it manages to be both playful and insightful. The girl is extraordinarily perceptive in her understanding of the British class system and even the sexual politics that exist among adults. Yet there is the sparkle and magic that would appeal to a 9-year old girl (and everyone else). DELIGHTFUL!
