They work long hours, preparing for the February regional event, won for ten straight years by a privileged, preppy school. Steinmetz finishes just well enough to be invited to the state meet. When a team member steals a copy of the state test, the teacher and kids face a dilemma: to remain honest, or to cheat and score a victory for kids in underfunded schools. When they do well, they must face a withering barrage of investigations, accusations, lawyers' lies, and reporters' intrusions. Is it all worth it? What lessons does cheating teach?

i enjoyed this movie... it somehow reminded me of my school days...
can't deny, we cheat sometimes...
Story of how to get caught up in the wrong thing in order to overcome odds stacked against you. Good representation of how the people play and how the public follow opinion and strike when people are down.

Some parts were unreal because the actions were illegal (students admitting to the cheating after being interrogated in separate rooms and in a police-like manner) but it was based on a true story!
about cheaters and how they think actually.. nicely done by john stockwell!
Pretty great. Kids learn to study for, then decide to cheat on the state test. I like this because it shows that cheating isn't really bad, unless you get caught.
Directed by Matt Walsh, Produced by Bill Belichick.
Phenomenal docu-drama on the pre-game preparations for the 2002-2007 New England Patriots.
(I live in NY, I'm not allowed to like NE sports, I think it's a law here or something)
quiet little tele-movie that raises some damn good reasons to cheat. fuck it, if you're gonna fight, fight dirty!
Interesting casting - I actually enjoyed some of Stockwell's choices. There's a strange feel-good Hollywood ending to the film, which seems to clash with the plot.
