I enjoyed it overall, even if the end was a forgone conclusion; like Finding Nemo... well.. he's going to Find him then, obviously.
The road Liam Neeson must take to rescue his daughter from a human trafficking ring, becomes something of a Bourne film; car chases, gun battles and fist fights, torture, killing thugs in a variety of different ways.
Quite standard, but I don't condemn it for that.
An enjoyable chase film.

This is the next movie I watched after seeing the crappy TRANSPORTER 3, so it did not need to work too hard to impress me. Regardless, TAKEN is impressive. Now let's talk about how Jason Statham could do major damage to Liam Neeson.

totally badass in every way. see it immediately, or liam neeson will find you. and he will kill you.

Produced by luc besson. hmmm, kinda feels like his movies, ie. transporter or the professional. I like Neeson but this movie felt it should have been direct to dvd like some of wesley snipes moveis.

A very good action movie with some ruthless realistic ass kicking. I also liked how the guns sounded very loud and realistic, unlike in usual hollywood movies.

WOW. Great movie. This movie has everything you would want that person to do - given the story line. You should watch. Its brilliant. Makes you scream Justice Served!
