NOT what I was expecting! The imagery was gorgeous and the story unique to say the least. I would definitely recommend a viewing!
On disait a cause de mon nom haha mais pour vrai c est vmt bon film ! Ca montre quelque chose que dans la vie qu on ne peut pas tout avoir ce qu on veut MAIS on peut rêver !
A freaky and magical fairy-tale. The world seen through a child where nothing is as it seems. The use of spectacular stop motion brings this creative and quirky tale to life.
Nice adaptation of the book, except the addition of the boy made it a little less scary. They had Coraline come from Michigan! Kind of weird, but a nice touch.
interesantna ideja, ali je meni ceo film nekako previse spor bio... nema onog prijatnog osecaja psihodelije i jeze (koja je cini mi se bila planirana)
An interesting story which bears closely resemblance to Alice In Wonderland. The stop-motion animation helps to bring this dark children's tale to life without being too scary or too silly, but never too dull.
this was more dramatic than I thought it would be. It's a very interesting story line and I think it's something that kids can definitely learn from. Grass isn't always greener on the other side...
Technically perfect, unfortunately the development of the story turns out to be boring and predictable. The Moral: cats always take care of us :-)
NOT A KIDS MOVIE! And definitely weird. Don't expect the same feel you got from "Stardust" or "Mirrormask".
A visual treat with a concept not executed to its fullest potential. I enjoyed the film, but felt like it could have done so much more. Seeing this in 3D would have bumped the score up another half star.

A visual stunner that takes animation to thrilling new heights.full review
Coraline is a plucky heroine, and director Selig's imagination is indisputable. But the story falters in parts, and its dark tone could be off-putting for children.full review
Nearly everything in Coraline has been painstakingly handmade.full review
It is a sumptuous visual feast and a perfectly enchanting story.full review
Coraline lingers in an atmosphere that is creepy, wonderfully strange and full of feeling.full review
It's not just the 3-D glasses that add an extra dimension to the horror and hilarity of Coraline.full review
An animated film that might be too good for children. It arrives in time to expose the atrocious Wall-E.full review
[Director] Selick has a great fantasy filmmaker's artistry, but he lacks that overflowing Geppetto-esque love that brings puppets to life. In Coraline, he's woozy with his own lyricism.full review
