Two gorgeous actors and one superpower should have made this movie work, but we've seen these actors, we've seen this superpower...

Takze vynikajuci film. Mam rad temu cestovania v case vo filmoch. Nie kecam, ja to milujem. Kazde takto dielo. Prinasaju tolko myslienok a tolko moznosti na premyslanie. A tomuto sa to darilo na vybornu.
Spat k filmu. Mame alebo nemame na vyber. Ak nemame, vsetko je potom jednoduche. Alebo prave zlozitejsie? Ktovie.
Kazdopadne dobre scifi sa da urobit aj s minimalnymi nakladmi na efekty. Staci, ked je dobry scenar. Tu bol.

There is also something of a rule when people are adapting lengthy, complex novels: they're probably going to fuck it up. This absurd film plainly represents crudely distilled scraps of the book, the 'story' lurching along mindlessly and messily, almost daring you to pay attention. Almost every character is therefore a meaningless sketch, save Eric Bana, who does his very best with the dry, clumsy dialogue. A vapid, slightly pathetic film, The Time Traveler's Wife makes precious little sense and carries all the emotional weight of a copy of Good Housekeeping. Nonsense.
Any movie that actually causes me to react physically (i.e. cry), is worth four stars. I read the book years ago, the movie seemed pretty true to the story.
It was kinda slow and choppy. The back and forth got quite confusing and annoying. I didn't believe the chemistry between McAdams and Bana either.
With Rachel McAdams - how can you go wrong - delightful story and direction - this drama is a delight throughout. The idea reminded me a little of Ghost - so if you liked that, you might enjoy this too..

It's a bit of a backwards forwards film that could have ended in many ways - however, I'm glad they chose this particular ending as it sits really well with everything else.. I'm finding it hard to believe so many critics rated this low - maybe i missed something... in my opinion - a really well made film.
Fantastic modern fairy tale. An epic romance with just the right amount of dread. Anyone who has every lost a loved one will have a very hard time making it through this. Fair warning.

I'm over the moon about this movie, which smooths out the psychological dissonances in Audrey Niffenegger's fine novel but is still an emotional workout.full review
I'd watch the vibrant Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana in anything, but The Time Traveler's Wife is pushing it.full review
There's not much [McAdams] or Bana can do to rescue this dreary piece of romantic hooey.full review
It takes, as its subjects, the sadness and grandeur of life and the mystery of time, and it offers a full experience to those who find its wavelength.full review
Suspend your disbelief and you might find The Time Traveler's Wife a charming if mildly depressing fantasy. Or you might, as I did, travel elsewhere during it. Either way, at least it's a picturesque journey.full review
The Time Traveler's Wife tries to transcend time and place, but it ultimately becomes bogged down in details.full review
Like two hours on the Burma railway, heaving away at time/space conundrums, arch-to-soppy dialogue and tail-chasing plotting under the lash of distributors who put us in a crowded, no-escape cinema.full review
An uninspired alternative to comic book pandemonium and solemn family dramas, a gloppy serving of late summer corn.full review
The Time Traveler's Wife is told with a tenderness that's unusual in a major motion picture but that leads mostly to dullness.full review
