Eh, weird, but some embarrassing, and odd situations. I'm still not pleased Wionna was in this movie She hasn't been anyone's favorite since she's a cleptomaniac!
It was ok, but I really don't think this is a award winning film
One of my favorite comedies. Well written, lots of laughs, and a cool ending.
This movie was funny in its own way, and over all not to bad, I did think it was a little to long. Total chick flick. It did make me wonder if more than 100 partners is common for most men?
This film was way better than it looked. I was amused, although not blown away.
I was surprised that I liked this movie that I'd never heard of before. Patton Oswalt was funny. I thought the Death Nell storyline was a little weird and didn't really fit with everything that was going on. I also thought the voice over monologue... I liked Simon Baker in Land of the Dead and The Devil Wears Prada, and he pulls off a suave, womanizer with neo-classic Hollywood looks (if that makes any sense at all) in this. Ryder, in a much smaller role, accomplishes making her character morbidly funny in a cartoonishly serious way, but she brings some reality to it by the end. The plot is silly, bizarre, and something you just have to see to believe.
I really enjoyed it, but then again, I'm kiiind of a movie-whore. For all it's flaws and oddities though, Sex and Death 101 manages to be unique and interesting.

It was really odd, but not too odd. Plus Roderick was handsome! It was good enough for me to tape the ending on sky, but I wouldn't watch it again.
Not especially funny, but relatively interesting and good entertainment. No subtitles on the UK rental DVD though which is always annoying.
Critic Reviews
This film is headed quickly for DVD. In the video store, though, it isn't funny enough to be shelved in the comedy section nor dirty enough to be filed with the smut.full review
It's nice to see The Facts of Life's Mindy Cohen working again, but crawling along in clunky, directionless fashion, Waters's pseudo-rom-com ultimately dies a slow death.full review
