Gigi just wants a man who says he'll call--and does--while Alex advises her to stop sitting by the phone. Beth wonders if she should call it off after years of committed singlehood with her boyfriend, Neil, but he doesn't think there's a single thing wrong with their unmarried life. Janine's not sure if she can trust her husband, Ben, who can't quite trust himself around Anna. Anna can't decide between the sexy married guy, or her straightforward, no-sparks standby, Conor, who can't get over the fact that he can't have her. And Mary, who's found an entire network of loving, supportive men, just needs to find one who's straight.

Set in the American city of Baltimore the film portrays the place is a bleak light. It's a town of drugs, corruption and beaurocracy and in "The Wire" it makes for probably one of the greatest television programmes of all time. "He's Just Not That Into You" is also set in Baltimore but concerns itself more with relationships and love. You won't find any re-ups here; just break ups. Penned by two former "Sex And The City" writers (the film takes its name from an episode) "He's Just Not That Into You" follows in that television shows footsteps by presenting realistic relationships with real characters. We are shown their ups and their downs, their highs and lows, and you soon come to realize that being in love isn't as easy as it looks. All the actors in the ensemble play their roles excellently with Justin Long being my own personal favourite, and the interlocking stories themselves feel real and well developed. Another key element is the film's funny. Made me laugh in my belly. All in all then "He's Just Not That Into You" is a cut above the usual romantic comedy fare and that's good with me.

didn't really see what the big hype was.. I knew all this shit before..
still fun to watch.
One of the most boring chick flicks I've seen. All I can say is that I expected way better than this mediocracy. The sad part is that this movie has such a great cast and it was blown away. * The reason why I compare "He's Just Not That Into You" and "Valentine's Day" is because both are chick flicks and have a really good cast.
Critic Reviews
The title and cast are sure to lure women in by the droves - but surprisingly there's something to like here for the guys, too.full review
He's Just Not That Into You feels like a sitcom that resolves each mini-dilemma before going to commercial.full review
He's Just Not That Into You succeeds more with clever one-liners than in its uneven scenarios. But it's light and entertaining, and its heart -- visible amid the cynicism -- is in the right place.full review
He's Just Not That Into You never soars, but it never flags. It remains brisk, engaging and pleasant throughout.full review
Somewhere along the way, He's Just Not That Into You starts taking all the wrong forks in the road of romance and ends up nowhere.full review
What makes this one a cut above the generic is a tart dose of drama and hard-bitten intelligence amid the candy corn.full review
Are women desperate or just desperately stupid? This is the misogynist question at the core of He's Just Not That Into You, a women-bashing tract disguised as a chick flick.full review
Is this what we want in our romantic comedies? Is it too much to hope for smart, dimensional female characters who have more to them than marriage lust (see also -- or rather, don't -- Bride Wars)?full review
The problem with most of the film's women is that they are interested in only (a) the opposite sex, (b) dating and (c) marriage.full review
