Weak TV transfer of the great Neil Simon play. Terrific cast from top to bottom, but they still cannot make up for the cheap production.
There is nothing really bad about this version it just seemed a bit pointless. There were a few funny one liners but I found Falk a bit annoying and Allen was just playing his usual on screen persona.
I stumbled upon this movie half way before it finishes. I loved it from what I saw. I loved the insanity of the two old men. I especially could not stop LOL on the "ENTER" episode. Must see the full movie
Peculiar TV remake of Neil Simon's classic play and movie remake with Allen too cuddly for the George Burns part and Peter Falk overacting too much for Walter Matthau part. The story still works and some of Simon's one-liners still shine through, but...
