What Chan brings however is action in heavy bursts, including a particularly enjoyable parkour-induced chase on foot, but as the movie's pace slows down so does the initial rush of these adrenalin-fuelled acrobatic segments. A swifter editor could probably have made Invisible Target a tolerable pastime (like the wonders Angie Lam did for Dante Lam's The Sniper for example), but Chan seems to have fallen too much in love with his movie, shamelessly exploiting the devastatingly good looks and popstar sensetivity of lead actor Nicholas Tse for two hours plus, with an incredibly dull-looking and sterile Hong Kong as backdrop.

I haven't seen an action film of this caliber since the original Die Hard. The story is deep, the characters are fully fleshed out, the action is amazing, there is a reason to everything. You care about the heroes because they are likable, and you understand the bad guys because they have a purpose than to just do bad things. I really can't say enough good things about it. If you are an action fan, buy this movie. Just remember to watch it in it's original Cantonese language. Trust me, you can read. A classic.
the couple of fights and expositions are the coolest part of this movie, but apart from that, there are plenty of other matial arts movies that are better
Was kinda long with some boring parts. but when action kicked in, no glass was safe!!
benny chan knows how to make an action movie and this along with new police story are two of the greatest action / thriller movies ever made.

Realism is not the order of the day, but look past the cartoon characters and over-the-top production values and you'll be treated to some great kung fu, a jaw-dropping free-running sequence, broad Hong Kong comedy and a standout, charismatic performance by Jaycee Chan (son of Jackie Chan!). Really good, slick, utterly mindless, Hong Kong fun. If you're a fan of the genre then don't miss this!

By the way, the language is not as rough if you watch it with English dubbing. With English subtitles, there is more bad language.
