Good flik, a bit long winded, and not as great as i had anticipated, but still a good watch. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is amazing!

Let's face it, most movies of the aforementioned genre run 2+ hours, while this one comes in well short of that.
While Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts are the BIG the names above the title, there are three other stars here that make them look good. First off is Philip Seymour Hoffman. When he is on the screen, the scene is electric.
Second, the Aaron Sorkin screenplay sings. Pulling it together is our third star of the game, director Mike Nichols. It is one thing to have the pieces of a puzzle or the notes to a symphony, but director Nichols made everything work and flow.
Well worth seeing.

True story, very funny. If you like the West Wing or ever seen an episode of it, it's very similar.

I like this one. There are lots of parts that made me smile or laugh but have to say I left feeling really sad. Great performances though.

Nichols fills the edges of the screen with unforced humor.

It's quite a yarn, and the filmmakers relate it with clarity and verve.

Tells a momentous story -- a story every American should know -- in a boisterous, lickety-split style that makes the history lesson go down easily.

The film, adapted from George Crile's book, doesn't always work, but it sure offers value for money.

This is certainly the most dynamic of the war films that have been choking and dying at the multiplex.
