An all star cast including Dakota Fanning, Guy Pearce, Forest Whitaker and Jeanne Tripplehorn. It's one of those stories that will keep you thinking after you finish watching it, but it is disturbing and depressing on many levels.
Thought provoking plot and nice soundtrack. It makes you wonder how you would change your life if you experienced something like this.
perfect casts,my fav: Forest Whitaker, Josh Hutcherson,and Guy Pearce,as for Dakota,another stereo-typed performance.excellent idea,those conflicts were so real and human.like it!^^

The strangers do not "form a unique relationship with each other" as the tagline for the movie states. Movie shows how different people deal with tragic (post-traumatic) situations. In my opinion, a waste of a good cast.
Excellent performances and seems to be underrated by most people. Falls short of being great, though.
Great cast and great performances, high production value. But the story is strictly character driven and plot addicts will probably find it boring.
An average movie. With this cast, I'd say even very average. The ending extremely disappointing, it did not match the retrospection, the trauma, the whole tension... everything the movie promised turned out just lame.
