Unlike the Ang Lee film, it remained within the layman's bounds for creative liberty.
seen it...i thought it was good...but there are too many movies about the hulk now
LOVED THE MOVIE! It was action packed and had a well rounded action packed plot! Edward Norton did a good job!

Alright movie. Misses a lot of the interesting things about the Hulk though.
Very engaging and Norton is as watchable as he always is, but lacking the atmosphere that Ang Lee managed to create in Hulk.
I liked this version a lot more than the previous Hulk movie (with Eric Bana). This story moves a lot faster because they put us right into the here and now and provided only the necessary snippets of how Banner became the Hulk.

I noticed the references to Stark Industries the second time around (and probably after watching Iron Man to understand the connection) as well as some scenes I had forgotten. The action hardly stops and the ultimate villain makes for a great showdown.

Leterrier has achieved some of the best action sequences ever, but not at a human cost, which is really remarkable in a summer comic book blockbuster like this.full review
In close-up the Hulk is more cartoonish than scary, but when he's ripping armed vehicles to shreds? Kewl.full review
The chief fault of The Incredible Hulk is that it aims to be the diametric opposite of Lee's, and it jettisons what actually worked.full review
The latest spin on the Marvel comic-book hero delivers the popcorn goods.full review
It sidesteps the intriguing aspects of Hulkdom and spends way too much time in, dare I say, noisy and mindless action sequencesfull review
The new movie about Dr. Bruce Banner is called The Incredible Hulk. But let's not get carried away: The Adequate Hulk would have been a more suitable title.
The saga is uneven and there are plot holes, but as a popcorn movie steeped in action, it keeps our attention.full review
It's the crappy summer blockbuster Marvelites probably deserve.full review
