Meanwhile, one of the southerners turns out to be a cross-dressed woman, who is also discovered to wear a footbell to match Jet Li's, meaning they are somehow slated for an arranged marriage.

Saw this one too, really good action movie, i even think one of the songs in here is sung by Jet Li.
fucking epic shit. the fight scenes were probably the best i have ever seen.
Great stuff. Jet Li without the wires makes me happy inside. Can't really go wrong with Lau Kar Lung.
Shaw Brothers. A 23-year-old Jet Li beating the fuck out of everyone. People's heads being cut off. An actual plot.

Sure, my DVD copy of this is a bad transfer, so the subtitles aren't always legible, but the plot is relatively easy to follow, the scenery is incredible and you'll have a hard time finding better fight scenes anywhere else.
Awesome.
