I actually love this heartwarming, funny movie. It's worth it just to see Gary Oldman, who is once again unrecognizable in his role, line-dancing at the end! HILARIOUS! Oh, and you'll never see Chapstick in the same light again.
Gary Oldman is just wonderful in this movie even though he plays a kind of gross character with questionable hygiene problems. He was funny in this movie, a genre he rarely gets cast for. Too bad his good looks is covered up by that mustache.
Tangy & sweet!
Interesting look at life in the gutter with a lot of heart...
Pretty sweet and funny throughout, but it is still a Raising Arizona clone. Gotta love Gary Oldman in an almost unrecognizable role.
This is one of the SWEETEST movies I've ever seen. I have to take off half a point for its racist stereotyping of American Indians. Brought me to tears a few times, especially at the end. So funny and cute!

Still, it was worth the rental price if only for the final line-dancing scene between Gary Oldman and Mary Steenburgen as the credits rolled. And the Chapstick. Lord.
A nice fun film but completely forgettable. Good to see Oldman extending himself to a wild comedic role. Story nothing special, but an hour and a half well spent.
So absolutely random and weird that it is a must see! To this day, my husband and I STILL can't get over the chapstick thing! LOL
Best and most random movie I have seen in a very long time! Ending is the best part, so stick it out. Oldman's performance is fantastic!
Gary Oldman is excellent as usual, though the plot was not convincing. It was the ensemble cast that made the unbelievable script work.
It's may not be Oldman's best work, but it certainly deviates from his usual role which, I think, is more interesting to watch. This is just the cutest movie really, and it's really very funny.
