Funny movie. I knew what was coming and still enjoyed it. This movie delivered the goods.

Good for a watch, but they need to improve all comedic aspects to make a sequel even bareable.

Steve Carell could be mugged by terrorists and have explosive diarrhea and it would still be freaking hilarious.
A good movie by a funny Steve Carell; I watched it on plane and then again watch on HT because of lovely Anne Hathaway performance in it.
I lasted all of 27 minutes. How I madeit that long, I haven't a clue. Half a star for Anne Hathaway whom I actually liked, I just wished it was a watchable script.
Uh, kinda average. Has some decent funny bits but not really re-watchable. If Patrick Warburton is in a sequel then I'll get dragged into watching that. Good for one viewing but its typical formulaic comedy.
It definitely had some of the funny moments. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway were actually a good team together, which was a bit of a surprise. Seems like a very unlikely duo but they did well together.

"Did I hear something?"
"Yes, there were some tap dancers in the hallway."
"Okay, not to keep dwelling on this, but that was some kiss. How did you know that will work? Have you kissed other men who then plummented to their deaths?"
Critic Reviews
Smart summer entertainment that retains the likeability and wit of its source material but brings it into the 21st century with a perfectly cast Steve Carell.full review
The film is about as funny as a 3am cold call, and if you are a critic you cannot slam down the phone before you have heard it out.full review
Get Smart is likable and very funny -- at least a two-to-one ratio of excellent gags to clunkers -- but it's not, for better or worse, Get Smart.full review
Get Smart could have been smarter. But like the show that inspired it, it's still smarter than it looks.full review

It's funny, exciting, preposterous, great to look at, and made with the same level of technical expertise we'd expect from a new Bond movie itself. And all of that is very nice, but nicer still is the perfect pitch of the casting.full review
It can't decide whether it wants to be a thrilling action movie or a quirky comic spoof. The elements seem in conflict, rather than seamlessly blended.full review
No knockout, but Carell wins on a rock-solid technicality -- he's funny.full review
Get Smart tempts one toward the cynical thought that summer entertainment is deliberately meaningless. Should Hollywood ever grow up, Carrell and Hathaway would be ideal for another remake: God forbid it's TV's Moonlighting, but how about The Thin Ma...
