Lively characters and a hit-the-ground-running plot highlight this fantastic war movie-cum-heist flick. Nearly a vignette piece, Inglorious Bastards remains constantly exciting as it follows its limited cast from desertion to final battle, and is no... (read more)

I loved the use of slo-mo during insert action shots and the action scene at the end was pretty sweet. I didn't dig the repetitive use of the same shots though and the obvious use of miniatures at parts. It was made on a budget though so it's easy to... (read more)

Pretty fuckin' cool. I would have loved this if it was done with some better actors. Each of the characters was played by someone who seemed like the B-List counterpart to someone who would really excel in the role.

Side note: Bo Svenson reminds me of the actor ... (read more)

Ein Meisterwerk von Castellari! Man darf auf die Tarantino Version gespannt sein (angeblich u.a. mit Daniel Brühl als Nazi)

This is a very stylized, fun war movie...that may sound like an oxymoron but it's true. It's the first WWII movie I have ever seen that isn't focused on the brutality of war. It is a story of a group of escaped American prisoners who one day were f... (read more)

A Fun Romp...but uneven when it takes itself too seriously. There are some suprisingly good action sequences and plot twists to keep things interesting. Fred Williamson steals the show.
