decent film. Kind of followed along matchpoint. Great acting between the two main characters. I would net flix this movie, don't go out of your way.

Yet another great Woody-Allen masterpiece with great acting, understating thrill and marvelously wicked plot. Enjoy!

A little repetitious I think. Great actors starring and I liked the language/accent they used.=) Even though the movie wasn't even close a masterpiece, it's still worth watching.

I thought that the plot was decent, and the actors were good, but the way it was presented was boring. There was practically no musical soundtrack, which surprisingly can have a big affect on how good a movie is

The ending is terrible but the movie was watchable despite the disturbing plot. I like Farrell in roles like this. McGregor is good in most movies. No sign of Allen's latest muse, Scarlett Johansson.

Manque de peps', musique agaçante (Philipp Glass peut etre tres bon sur certaines productions mais pour le coup, ses violons desesperes m'ont fatigue tout le long du film) et surtout, ou donc sont passes ce petit sourire et cette tranquillite qui caracterisent d'habitude ma sortie d'une seance Woody Allen ?

The performances sometimes go for size and ferocity over subtlety and reality, but it all plays into the film's forward movement. I've not yet put my finger on what the importance of the color green and plants are in this story, but they are everywhere: Around the boys and Uncle Howard when discussing their plot, at the garden when Ian realizes just how low Terry has fallen. Maybe it's as simple as the green envy of want grows like a vine, but maybe it's more than that. Regardless, Allen shows us here, as usual, that he is a master story teller, a fantastic screenwriter, and a brilliant director.
