Paul McGann is awesome as the doctor, but thats about the only good thing. Easily one of the most believable doctors (hence the rating).

Today i give it this rating; when this movie came out (I didn't know about the Doctor Who universe), I "might" give this movie a one star. Now that I'm an addict of the current seasons and after seeing the previous doctors with all the different pers... (read more)

Load of cak! This is what you get when you get Hollywood involved... The Doctor is half-human? Rubbish.

The way they killed off the 7th Doctor was unbelievable too.

Unsuccessful attempt to crack the American market - this was the pilot - with Paul McGann as the 8th incarnation of the timelord. The story is pretty weak and the execution is botched, and whilst it tries to catchy the inherent British quirkiness it... (read more)

Paul McGann is good as the Doctor but that's about it. The Americanized script for the most part fails miserably to bring the Dr Who magic. It is an interesting bridge though between the first run of the TV series and the current run.

the best i can say is that it was at least something to hold doctor who fans during the nearly twenty year hiatus of the series from television. it was hoped at the time that fox or some other american television company would begin producing a new s... (read more)
