Frederic Diefenthal portrays a police investigator with ESP who eventually plays a part in arresting Claude (Sylvie Testud), an unhinged woman who allows random chance to dictate her actions.

I mean, after all, they're going to be putting up several million dollars to make it so they best be sure it's worthy of the price... well, after viewing this movie, I just discovered that Hollywood still doesn't really get what constitutes a "good" movie... it is evident to me now that they will simply remake a movie because they've run out of ideas and not because the original film actually contains good ideas itself... instead, they seem to be looking for films that are "safe" to remake and not necessarily "exceptional" or "original" in their own right... case in point, DEDALES, which is not a bad movie, but it's painfully conventional. The acting is solid, the direction is stylish, and the characters are actually rather complex, but narratively speaking this film is your run-of-the-mill psychological thriller, complete with non-chronological storyline to hide a big "twist", schizophrenics, repressed childhood trauma, some mythological or religious motivation for the killings, sexual confusion, and so on and so forth - all standard motifs one would find in your typical Hollywood thriller... and therefore perfect for a Hollywood remake! Now, if it wasn't for the superb acting and direction I may have dismissed this film completely, but because of this - and the rather complex characterization - it will get an apprehensive recommendation from me... fans of giallo films may enjoy it even more as it shares many similarities with that genre, but otherwise there are many other thrillers out there for you to enjoy rather than this rather conventional and uninspired work... again, not bad, but merely average...
Si vous avez aime "Sixieme sens", "Sex crimes" et "Ne le dis a personne", laissez "Dedales" vous desemparer et vous surprendre jusqu'a la derniere seconde du generique...

Never before have I ever been this confused while watching a movie. I may be simple minded but this is beyond description. I am going to seek out every movie Rene Manzor has made after watching this masterpiece.
Betyget gäller den franska filmen på bilden, inte 80-talsfilmen med Bowie och muppfigurer som årtalet och synopsis yrar om
Wonderful film. Don't bother about the film information though, it describes the wrong movie
