Not bad and fans of the original may find this very gratifying, but as a whole piece it offers nothing to the series that the original didn't cover perfectly to start with. Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner and Harold Perrineau steal the film entirely, but aren't the focus of it (boo). Possibly pointless, but certainly watchable.

It's an ambitious, well crafted, highly entertaining zombie film with lots of twists and turns, and there's a guy in it that looks just like Hugh Jackman. You'll know who I mean if you watch it. And a cool, if somewhat inconclusive ending.

Worth checking out.

This movie is so dumb. In the very beginning a soldier had a gun, but instead of shooting the zombie he just gave it a blank stare.....wtf.

So its Code Red time. All civilians have been shoved into a "safe room". All lights have been turned off for (some unknown) reason. What happens next? Well of course, the only zombie in the city breaks into the "safe room." All hell breaks loose. OMFG!!!!

I could not take it any more. Remember, this is only in first 40 mins!! I simply cannot watch movies which are supposed to be serious horror films, but lack all common sense.. GARBAGE!!!!!

A perfect sequel! It's true to it's predecessor, but still takes the subject to a new level! Original and scary like the first one, and very well made! I loved the cinematography and the music!

I LOVED the first two thirds of the movie, but after Doyle dies (which was stupid. I liked Doyle.), it went way downhill. Very unsatisfying ending.

Now I'm not so excited for the inevitable 28 Months Later.

28 Weeks Later is brutal and almost exhaustingly terrifying. It is also bracingly smart, both in its ideas and in its techniques.

The film has the energy of a relentless action thriller, memorable characters and significant ideas.

It validates my faith in the disreputable.
