In this she not only identified with the American reporter she was playing, but also was able to make me feel like she understood the Mexican girls she was trying to protect. Loosely based on what is actually occurring in American/Mexican bordertowns, the tale of corrup goverment allowing those with money/power to rape and kill those with little control over their life.

I especially like all the specials on the DVD with real documentaries from the families who are living the nightmare. Open your eyes as you watch this movie. Get involved with the world!

A really good movie that helps to bring light to something not many people are probably aware. I was surprised by how much I liked it and the character that Jennifer Lopez played. Definitely worth watching.
