an excellent companion piece to WHAT IS IT?, this second part of the planned "IT" trilogy has a more straightforward narrative structure, but remains uniquely planted in glover's bizarre world.

The key difference is that the killer in Glover's movie is suffering from cerebral palsy, and the fantasies are his escape from an otherwise dreary existence. This does not in any way make for easy viewing, but it is interesting, and often very funny - in a strictly dark way, of course. Well worth seeing if you get the rare opportunity to do so.
the 2nd installment for Crispin Glover's trilogy. I honestly don't really know what goes on in his derranged mind. His directorial efforts reflect the weirdness of his personality.
A well crafted and filmed fantasy that leaves many questions, you just don't know what they are... Certainly not for the easily offended.
Holy mackerel...I just watched cerebral palsy serial killer porn. Certainly made easier to appreciate due to the fact that the filmmaker, Crispin Glover, was on hand to discuss the film and its (deceased) writer/star in a Q&A session afterward. He... He's touring the U.S. with this one over the next couple of years, so watch out for his coming to a town near you if he hasn't already. N' shit.
The experience of seeing it more than made up for what was lacking in the actual film. Glover is brilliant!

I had the privelage of seeing it with Crispin Glover present and the knowledge he provides about the movies making in his road show really enhances the experience of it. He is a very nice eccentric fellow and his movie experiences, much like the work of David Lynch or classics like Benuel and Fellini, are uncompromising and true to their writer's intentions. It's really hard to find fault in a pure untainted vision like this. Crispin Glover is a real gift to the world of cinema and its a shame his name is not more well-known. Check out CrispinGlover.com and sign up so you can find out when he brings his roadshow near you, and I guarantee you that even if you do not particularly enjoy his presentation, it will be unlike anything you've seen.
