I decided to watch this a second time after being very surprised how good it was when I first saw it about a year and a half ago. I'm lowering my rating a half a star though. Overall, a decent crime drama with pretty good acting.

After the job is done he finds out that the police have no record of the crime and the woman of the house has no idea that a crime had been commited there. Que many twists and turns as the plot unravels.
Any film that stars both Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris is onto a winner straight away and neither disappoint in this excellently crafted film from Renny Harlin. The effects are great, some of the crime scenes are truly horrible but it's all shot with a sense of black humour. The plot unravels at just the right pace and is never predictable, the ending is a lot simpler that you will think. Sadly the middle section drags a little and some of the main characters actions are a little implausible but this can be forgiven due to some great entertainment.
An enjoyable thriller.

He plays Tom Cutler.
Cutler used to be cop but didn't have the stomach for it (lulz) so he switched to being a crime scene cleaner, but his reason for kissing the law enforcement profession goodbye obviously run deeper than being tired of that particular work. Things are peachy keen for Cutler until his cleaning of a scene leads to a tangled web of cover-ups, frame-ups, but those are the only ups as it all goes downhill like spilled blood on an inclined surface that needs squeegee'ing. The end of the road leads Cutler to a frustrating truth and one that is so simple, so classic that you will marvel at the complex way in which it was reached. Eva Mendes co-stars along with Ed Harris.
Suspenseful stuff and a welcomed surprise. Recommended!
Film qui aborde un sujet original mais cela ne suffit pas pour en faire un bon polar. La fin est baclee. Le jeu d'acteur est moyen.

The movie unravels the clener and his past, the future he has worked had to begin and how old friends, old habbits come back to haunt him as such.
the ending was not spectacular but, i was kind of thinking.. and then? but amost everyone ends up with a good lesso learnt and the cleaner goes back to his life.
i recommend you watch it
