Moments after takeoff, Lisa's seatmate, Jackson menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board: He is an operative in a plot to kill a rich and powerful businessman, and Lisa is the key to its success. If she refuses to cooperate, an assassin awaiting a call from Jackson will kill her father. Trapped within the confines of a jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way to summon help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. As the miles tick by, Lisa knows she is running out of time. She desperately looks for a way to thwart her ruthless captor and stop a terrible murder.

Wes Craven made a resurgence, back to his original masterwork of directing a decent white-knuckled, suspense-thriller.
Well acted, I appreciate Cillian Murphy's character. Good idea could have been exacted a little better.
this dude is a creepy bad guy. The end was a little weak but good suspense.
Hitchcock couldn't have done better!! A Must! You'll never want to fly alone again!
Abseloute Rubbish. i woudl mark it as worse but i cant. dont bother, waste of my £4 at the time. There was a 1 minute action scene and the whole film was done on an economy class plane seat. I think ive said enough.
Very suspenseful. Cilian Murphy is so creepy and he definetily did a good job as well. Rachel McAdams looks like a good person to talk to.

It took forever, but the best thriller of summer 2005 has finally arrived. The gripping, seat- clutching suspense in this baby will pin you to your seat.full review
After a summer of crashes, bangs, endless chase scenes and special effects that belittle the actors standing in front of them, what a pleasure to see characters in a thriller doing what people like themselves possibly could do.full review
'Red Eye' is a movie that flies for a while, but is finally grounded by its heavy cargo of unbelievability.full review
Red Eye doesn't just stick to the basics -- it reminds us why they still matter.full review
Once the plane touches land, things go downhill. The movie devolves into a by-the-book action flick.full review
That all-too-rare Hollywood creation: a tightly wound, intelligent, and gimmick-free suspense film.full review
Red Eye stretches believability to the breaking point more than once, but the story moves with such headlong speed that there's scarcely time to object.full review
Craven, an old hand at menace, shifts gears smoothly from the slasher parodies of Scream, offering a more subdued brand of suspense.full review
