The drama in between the main guy and his BITCH of a kinda girlfriend are terrible. Don't even get me started on the ending. Completely out of place for characters and plot. Almost destroyed the whole movie. Watch it for the fights and the great humor, but be warned, the female character may get on your nerves and the ending sucks hard. I don't always need an ending like the way I want, but one that makes sense is preferred, thanks.
This is a great movie. The action is awesome. Wu Jing really has some great martial arts talent and his acting ability is pretty good too! I can't wait for all his other movies.
A decent actioner is completely sidetracked, by a bizarre, wrong headed final act that leaves one wondering what the heck the filmmakers were thinking.

Jacky Wu Jing stars as Kong, a quiet kid on the Chinese national kung fu team. He seems to own the role pretty well, playing a gentle person who happens to possess extraordinarily dangerous abilities. His kindness and noble qualities make him almost too much of an old school hero, but he somehow makes it work (it might be that smile). Some serious martial arts are on display as well, with our hero dishing out some lightning-fast acrobatic beatdowns. He's been compared to Tony Jaa, but I don't think he's there yet.
The love story is more believable on its visuals then its dialogue. The Captain is a funny, if bizarre, character. Tin's post-mortem tears and the strange starscape-on-a-hill scene are odd.
The ending is a major downer, but it suits the film's bleak tone. Not awesome, but worth a watch if you like the genre.
Just watched it in the Cable TV. Not bad. Not a pure action movie but some message. The performance of Ronald Cheng is good.
The plot (and all the subplots) are laughable. However, people don't watch this film for its plot nor romance (which is also laughable). The action sequences are superb and worthy to be branded a Wu Jing's show.
A good movie that could've been a great movie if they'd done a few things differently. In terms of action Fatal Contact completely delivers. Jacky Wu is one of the most exciting martial artists to watch these days. That's why it kinda sucks there weren't just a few more fight sequences thrown in here. The story was run-of-the-mill, but I liked the characters, humor and, of course, the amazing fights. The main problem was that in the last 15 minutes this movie goes right down the toilet. Too bad, this could've been a great flick with a little more fighting and a better ending.
Jing We is just a couple good scripts away from massive massive stardom. Why this guy is not mentioned in the same breaths as Jackie Chan and Jet Li by now is mind boggling.

The fatal [ha ha] flaw in Fatal Contact is that the story just isn't that interesting, nor are the characters that engaging.
But the action is really what this film is all about. It is a great showcase for Wing Ju's martial arts talent. He is ace!
great movie look out for this guy he is the nxt guy along side tony jaa as the martial arts moviestar
