I am a big Carry On fan and I am also a historian....so this makes Henry my fave of the series. Sid James as the cockney Henry VIII = comic gold.

My least favourite carry on. For some reason this one seems to cross the line for me - the scene where Henry goes 'hunting' particularly. Much prefer Carry on Girls.

Typically saucy period Carry On romp with the usual cast in fine form. Sid James is particularly at home as the randy monarch but the whole gang are a delight. Good old fashioned fun.
