this is one of the best serial killer movies out there. it's based on real events -the world's most prolific serial killer (that we know of) and it was on HBO -riding the Silence of the Lambs wave. watch it, buy it even.

Even if this movie sucked, which it definitely did not, it would still be worth watching for Donald Sutherland and Stephen Rea, super hotties...seriously though, yum

Excellent movie, has staying power, I have the DVD and never tire of it. The book it's taken from is an excellent read, too bad they didn't do a mini series, the book deserved it.

the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired... but anyways the story line is really intense and a movie worth watching...

Very good serial killer film. The story is fairly accurate to the books I have read about this infamous killer.

This was the one about Andrei Chikatilo, right? I saw this one about twelve years ago, right after reading the book. That guy was one fucked up piece of work.

It's a made for television film, so don't expect visual flair, but a good cast carries an interesting plot in this genuinely chilling little detective movie.

One of my old favourites, the foreign setting, human emotion and a look into the life of a serial killer, really facinating and I enjoyed it.

A little slow but as far as serial killer movies go it ok...politics are involved and its just a dimension were not used to seeing...
