Not knowing anything about his habit, she misinterprets this and throws him (and the attire) out of their home and marriage. He rents a room in Monica's house, recently divorced and around 50. Their relation- ship evolves from landlady/tenant over friends to lovers. Monica learns about, begins to understand and finally appreciates and supports Gerald- ine, Gerald's alter ego. His transvestitism, a rarely filmed subject, it's ups and downs, is treated with a lot of respect, warmth and humour.

But it was enjoyable enough and it was interesting to see how Adrian Pasdar pulled off a role like this when I mostly know him for being Nathan Petrelli.
My personal favourite bit was probably the moment 'Dina' revealed herself to be Gerald in the conference room..."Grab 'em by the balls, Miles, and their hearts and minds will follow."
I saw this film and thought to myself that I'll never look at Nathan Petrelli in the same way again.
Not the best movie ever but it still has some entertaining bits here and there.
A good movie with excellent treatment of a difficult subject. Clear that being a transvestite does not always equal being gay, a fact often missed by society and which the scenes with the police demonstrate.
The reason it was good was because of Adrian Pasdar's cute naked buns!! Other than that it wasn't that great.
