Covering the lack of Sammo and Biao Yuen by putting three Hong Kong beauties - Rosamund Kwan, Maggie Cheung, and Calina Lau. Jackie's doing-all-on-his-own stunts are harder and tougher than the first one, and what's more, action designs are full of ideas and comical elements. This action can only be made by Jackie - not Bruce nor Jet Li. Jackie, as a director, is also great - he knows how to show himself most.
Part II's plot relies heavily on the concept of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Unfortunately, Dragon Mao has so many enemies, it's much too difficult to keep strait the friend-enemies from the enemy-enemies.

Otherwise, the movie is much in the style of the first. The stunts might not be as glamorous, but there's some great gags and a hilarious handcuff chase scene.

A decent Chan flick, still an old school classic but not as good as Project A Part I

Subtitles were too fast and took away from the movie, so maybe it's better watched dubbed, since Jackie is dubbed in Chinese anyway. The Chinese patriot's story seems to be lost a bit in the ruckus, but it's still awesome and still pretty funny.
Although it had more interesting fights than the first, I missed Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao.
So much funnier than the first. Many familiar faces, 5 very recognizable. A giant bingo caller? Really? The house scene is ridiculous and creative.
Not quite as good as the first Project A, but still better than 90% of the other HK action movies ever made.
Great Jackie Chan movie again, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the original - it's not as funny and the action's not quite as good.
