I haven't seen this in years. I would love to get reacquainted with Jet Li's earlier work.
More of the same in this mandatory sequel to Fong Sai Yuk, with elaborate set pieces and some outstanding wire-fu that occasionally even surpasses the action of the previous part. Again, Josephine Siao steals Jet Li's thunder in every frame.
Still entertaining with some fun set pieces, even with the crappy English dub. Trust me you don't want to hear Adam Cheng dubbed...
Fong Sai Yuk II has some of the most amazing hong kong wire works, unbelievable humorous english dubbing, and amazing choreography. If you're a realist and don't like wire work than this is not for you.
A slightly lesser sequel, with a little too much wire work detracting from the great action scenes and less interesting supporting characters - though i did like the pressure points idea - particularly when paralysing that poor chicken!!!
Glad there's a synposis up there cos I had no clue what was going on. Funny dubbing and unintentionally funny acting, ridiculous wire stuff... but guess that's why these things have big cult followings.

In the last one, I felt like it was fantastic and a bad movie with some cool parts. This one had scenes that brought me into kung fu wonderland. The end where Fong Sai Yuk puts on 10 swords was awesome! Okay, the movie and story was silly and the mother steals the show, but still the action was great and, well, worth it. But Jet Li will never be Jackie Chan (but he is fast). My vote: 6.
