Wasn't nearly as bad as the trailers made it out to be. Still cheesy in parts.

Not as good as I thought it was going to be. I felt like I'd seen it all before, most memorably in the far superior Dangerous Minds. It would have been nice to have had the real Miep Gies in the film, because no one can tell the story of her friends ... (read more)

Erm to be honest once you have watched Dangerous Minds you really don't see anything new done here. Hilary Swank is pure **** material and in the words of Ali G "I definately would". The movie will capture some movie goers hearts and attention but pe... (read more)

It was like watching a less intense Dangerous Minds. However inspiring this maybe, it seemed like a tentative solution to one batch of students and not to change the education system.

Corny? You bet. And worse when the plot veers into the glitz of a Dangerous Minds and the sappiness of a TV After School Special. But the movie, which Swank helped produce by using her clout as a two-time Oscar winner, gets to you.
