I liked it immensely better than "Bruce Almighty". I'm both a Jim Carey and Steve Carel fan, but "Evan" is a much gentler, kinder movie - not so much with the blasphemy.

Not just a good comedy... It is inspired by God... I feel the True God's presence in the the midst of this funny story about a modern day Noah.

Why? Basically because the first made money and Steve Carrell was getting popular. There is no need for him growing a beard...he isn't Santa...its not like the story of Noah was "this guy put animals on a boat...BUT HE HAD A BEARD!". The scene in ... (read more)

Ugh...I try not be too hard on movies that are obviously geared toward little kids so I will just give my standard 2.5 star rating that I usually give various Disney movies.

More family friendly than the first one, but also not as funny.

wait, steve carrell's in a family friendly movie? whoa. oh yeah, morgan freeman is still awesome.
