I thought Ali was an unnecessary character. I love Hrithik Roshan and that made up for any parts I didn't like. This is the most special effects I've seen in a Bollywood film too, much more "modern" -- Waaaaay better than the first Dhoom movie.

Yes, It is big than it's prequel 2004 hit film but The most important, vital thing SCRIPT is missing throughout. Director SANJAY GADHVI spent money on hiring big star-cast, making them look good in sizzling wardrobe, designing the breathtaking stunts and song sequence & filming in exotic locations of Brazil. These embellishment are well placed but honestly plot is half-baked, half-convincing! Despite such major flaws DHOOM 2 works because it has sheer energy which takes us to a roller-coaster ride. The only saving grace of the film is HRITHIK ROSHAN, Who holds the film together and grabs the attention of audience. His death-defying stunts, macho physical structure is surely going to be remembered for longer days. Even his acting is nice but not so good so that he should be awarded BEST ACTOR for this film. How stupid! Rest of the cast ABHISHEK BACHCHAN, UDAY CHOPRA fails to make an impression. Amongst the girls BIPASHA BASU oozes sex-appeal and does well while AISHWARYA RAI hams a lot, even her bad make-up and wardrobe can't save her from utter criticism. DHOOM 2 is far from perfect but it's an engaging watch!

fabulous, fantastic, mindblowing, excllent, outsatnding and many other a totally FANTASTIC MOVIE
This was my first real Bollywood movie and I absolutely loved it! The music combined with the action and story is what makes this such an amazing movie.
Bollywood movies have it all. Exotic places, action, romance, great music, dancing, partial English phrases, and pretty people. Dhoom 2 is no exception. Exotic places, action, romance, great music, dancing, partial English phrases, and pretty people. Dhoom 2 is no exception. I have never seen Dhoom 1 (I probably should) but it didn't matter. Sure, it is cheesy. Sure it is long. But I love these films. I don't think I could watch one every week but once in a while is great. Hrithik Roshan is by far my favorite Indian actor and I first saw him in my favorite Bollywood flick "Krrish" (highly recommend it). Dhoom 2 is the Indian equivalent of Mission Impossible 2 where the two main characters fight on motorcycles and everything seems to be slow motion, but it just works better in this movie. Plus, the absence of CGI as such a refreshing thing now-a-days. When he is being pulled by a train and snwoboarding/wakeboarding on the sand behind, I have to give them credit for doing it for real (even though it still looks kind of goofy). Check this one out if you want to laugh, and laugh, and laugh and watch some snowboarding on sand! 7/10
PS>Indian hunks should not play basketball on film.
Really crap, not much of a storyline and Hrithik didn't really deserve the filmfare award for 2007. I don't understand why this film is really popular! IT SUCKS BIG TIME!
all of newton's laws of physics were broken within the first 20 mins - but iam giving it a 3 star simply coz aishwarya's incredibly hot in it
Love me some cop/SF/boy-meets-girl all-singing-all-dancing Bollywood nonsense.
