Benson wants more out of life than the inevitable career that awaits him and every other worker in New Hive City--a job at Honex making honey. Barry jumps at the chance to venture out of the hive, and soon encounters a world beyond his wildest dreams. When Barry inadvertently meets a quirky florist named Vanessa, he breaks one of the cardinal rules of beedom--he talks to her. A friendship soon develops, and Barry gets a guided crash course in the ways of the human race. When he shockingly discovers that anyone can purchase honey right off the grocery store shelf, he realizes that his true calling is to stop this injustice and set the world right by suing the human race for stealing the bees' precious honey.

Aika söpö mutta ihmisen ja mehiläisen rakkaustarina oli jokseenkin kökkö.

Able big name cast supports with gusto (including Patrick Warburton and Michael Richards from the Seinfeld sitcom). Smiles throughout, but toned down. No real laugh out moments, but superior fare for children and adults nonetheless.
This is a fantastic animated film. Jerry Seinfeld is my favorite comedian. He should have done more comedies, but eh, I'll take what I can get. I really enjoyed this movie. I know that was lame, but it's one of the reviews on the box. Don't blame me for the lameness.
Adorable movie with a great plot. Lots of humor that adults would get but kids probably wouldn't. To me, that's the key to a good animated flick.
Que genial toda la fabrica de miel, parece un parque de diversiones, que loco!!! Jajaja que risa con el mosquito en el parabrisas se pasa, y que tal con la abeja enamorada de la humana jajaja se pasa
This is the strangest movie I've ever seen. And I've seen "Phantom of the Paradise!" The plot is bizarre, the jokes more weird than funny...The Larry King as a bee joke is probably a great symbol for the overall weirdness of this film. I'll never be ... The plot is bizarre, the jokes more weird than funny...The Larry King as a bee joke is probably a great symbol for the overall weirdness of this film. I'll never be a huge fan of the Dreamworks animation house style. There's plenty to smile about here. But I'm not sure I understand why i'm smiling.

It's impersonal. It doesn't come from anywhere interesting.full review
Seinfeld, what happened? You've gone soft on us. Sure, some of it is fun but where's the sting?full review
Is it as bold as it might be? Does it blaze with invention? Is it the best babbling-bee urban biopic, bar none? Just about.full review
All of this material, written by Seinfeld and writers associated with his television series, tries hard, but never really takes off.full review
Bee Movie is certainly not low-budget, but it has all the staying power and creative value of a B-movie. The secret life of bees, as told by Seinfeld, is a bore with a capital B.full review
The most genuinely apian aspect of Bee Movie is that it spends a lot of its running time buzzing happily around, sniffing out fresh jokes wherever they may bloom.
Bee Movie just lacks spirit and energy. Part of the problem may be that, as far as I'm concerned, any animated movie released this year (and possibly in years to come) suffers in comparison with Brad Bird's Ratatouille.full review
Absurd enough to delight kids, overstuffed with verbal and visual in-jokes for grownups, it's a 90-minute joyride that barely pauses for breath. This is unquestionably the best movie that ever began as a bad pun.full review
At its relaxed best, when it's about, well, nothing, the slyly comic Bee Movie is truly beguiling.full review
