(read more) This is a very personal favourite but despite some dodgy old rockers trying to act the script makes up for it 10 times over - its full of cliches but when you work in the music industry you begin to realise they are not cliches - its the reality of this business. Very few movies manage to spoof the record business without seeming cheesy & uninformed but you can tell the writer / director used to work for a major label - John Taylor (yes-from Duran Duran-he is really good in it) has some excellent lines to deliver as does real life aging rocker in recovery Michael Des Barres - still a little gem I reckon

I thought this was going to be a shambles of a movie and it was - but it was good! I watched it because of John Taylor but the storyline was brilliant. The casting was perfect!

I only watched this because John Taylor, of Duran Duran fame, was in it. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations.
