A fairly good example of a Lau Kar-Leung film in so much that it's completely fucking ridiculous. I love the "fights" though the almost complete lack of an ending seemed odd.

Nice choreaography. Gordon Liu is great playing a royalty; for once he's not a monk. Hsiao Hou fits in perfectly among the rest of the massive cast. A few cheezy comedic scenes but still one of Liu Chia Liang's best.

Great classic SB action featuring the Master Killer himself in a fake mustache so comically outlandish you find it hard to believe he can move this freaking well. Some of the most innovative fight choreography ever.

Awesome name, great movie. Gordon Liu fights so nonchalantly and almost robotically. Lau Kar- Leung is a great director.

Not what you imagine from the dubious title, but a solid kung fu flick from the shaw brothers. With the old guy from kill bill, when he wasn't dead old. You know the one. Him.

Lau Kar-Leung proves once again why he's the greatest Martial Arts choreographer ever.
the choreography for this film is highly inventive. the real stand out one for me is the wine-tasting fight.

One of my favorite Shaw brothers films...runs fairly smooth for one of their pictures until the end. Could have gone on for another 5 minutes, but the fights aw awsome and original

Fantastic kung fu stuff. Liu (Gordon to American audiences) is absolutely hilarious rockin the stache, and the involuntary kung fu is great fun and well choreographed.

Definitely worthy of the names Shaw and Lau Kar-Leung. Anyways, I've enjoyed discovering some of these older flicks starring Chia Hui Liu, aka Gordon Liu, but in this one I wish he was more in on the action in the end instead of just taking up the mentor role.
