This is such an amazing movie....Rather slow perhaps, but something about it was incredibly sweet and sincere....I loved it, and I highly recommend it!

A little slow getting started, but a good story with a subtle but piercing commentary on immigration.

A film about outsiders, rural community, longing and love. Sweet photography of the pastoral landscapes.

I really loved this movie. The story is both poignant and endearing and the cinematography is truly remarkable. Sadly, I find it extremely relevant to today's feelings towards immigrants in America as well.

Matinee showings on Channel Five would appear to be its ultimate fate, but it remains a sincere, warm-hearted, emotionally satisfying picture with an eye-catching performance - mostly in unsubtitled German - from the pale-skinned, russet-haired Reaser. She's one to watch; so too, on this evidence, is Selim.

En riktigt mysig och rolig film. Absolut sevÃrd, men de norska dialogerna var kluriga att hÃnga med i! Uttalet var inte det bÃsta. :)

Odd, but good. Not for everyone because it is very slow, but a good change of pace. Unique storyline.

I really enjoyed this movie, it was slow at times, but I loved how she stands up for herself while facing so much opposition.
