David Duchovny is def one of my favorite actors and has been for many years. The character he plays in this movie was funny and charming and it was funny to see the evolution of him as a husband and as a man. The ending was a little cheesy but only because Im a guy. I laughed throughout and would probably watch this again. 103 minute runtime. 3.5 stars

Cute and sweet at some unexpected parts, and I really liked that and comedic at the right spots to ease the tension between the characters. Maybe it comes off as making light of the troubles in relationships, but I think that's what makes it a little easier to watch because when the times get rough between each couple, they throw some comedy in there to lighten the mood a bit. When the couples fight or make amends, the characters talk with friends as people sometimes do if a relationship falls apart on them in order to get by. I think that much is pretty easy to relate to because most people have been there at some point in there life. Overall, I really enjoyed the little quirks about this movie. It was different than I expected and that's why I enjoyed it.
A really funny, nice movie, ok guess that isn't everyones cup of tea, but it had David Duchovny in it so i watched it, made me laugh a few times, well worth a look if u just wanna chill out for a few hours!
Starts off slow, but you soon fin yourself drawn into the lives of the four main characters. And it's got David Duchovny in it - what more could a girl want.
Well, the preview makes it look kinda dumb, but "trust me" it's very entertaining.
Not engaging enough to be a drama and amusing too infrequently to be a comedy, this largely flat effort falls between these two outposts of success. A shame, since there is plenty of talent involved.

Critic Reviews
I wish the film were true to itself and its quartet of puzzled, struggling lovers; their collapse into sitcom idiocy felt uncomfortably close to betrayal.full review
The people behind this film would not recognize complex, honest emotion if it hit them in the face with a frying pan.full review
This comedy about two self-absorbed New York couples feels like wan Woody Allen.full review
Until someone truly reinvents the stagnant romantic-comedy genre, trifles like Bart Freundlich's Trust the Man will have to suffice.full review
