Interesting train wreck thanks to the "Dream On" type use of clips and a whole bus load of stars in bits. Farrah looks just gorgeous and even though this movie is NOT very good, Raquel really does a good job.

More than lives up to its reputation. One of the worst movies I've ever seen.....and not in a good way.

However I guess since it was the late 60's when it was made transgender women just wouldn't be understood just yet. I read somewhere that Candy Darling of Andy Warhal's factory was dying to land this part she did make a few screen tests but was left bitter when she lost it. Saying this " I guess they thought Raquel Weltch would make a better transvestite." All in all the movie is anything but dulll, if you ask me the worst crime a movie can commit it's being dull.

Raquel Welch's first movie and Mae West's last. Surprise cameo's from Jim Bauccus and Tom Selleck. An excrementally bad movie, but a time capsule of the best and worst of the 70's.

It was funny, witty and Mae West was just hilarious. Not your normal movie and definately way before its time. I'm impressed.

Spliced with some of the most amazing images from Old Hollywood cinema, Myra is classic in its bad taste and groan-worthy 1970's filmmaking. Don't listen to reviews, watch and let its campy hilarity wash over you!

It's totally ridiculous and it's not the only time that Gore Vidal disowned an adaptation of his novel. There was also Caligula. Which I also loved. Notice that for both of these films, he was actually involved in the original screenplay. God, that guy should stay away from Hollywood.
