This was quite funny even though it made fun of some movies that I also like. I liked it.
I swear, this movie must've been intentionally awful. I have never seen a comedy that was so clueless about what's funny in all my life. Not one joke worked in this awful waste of time. This film is a brilliant and scathing social commentary on such hot issues as reality television programming and ten year old blockbuster movies. The director uses a combination of top-notch computer imaging and profound dialogue to seduce the audience. The plot is rich with metaphors for the deeply disturbing entertainment age we currently reside in and the conclusion will most certainly leave you with some thoughts to ponder.
This was my usual "crappy movie"-gift from my husband. Not as bad as I expected, quite funny at times (maybe b/c of a slight hangover...). And Michael Jackson! In a movie! That in itself is worth one star. Magnificent acting - not!
