Although most were not impressed with Laura Prepon as Karla I thought she was great.A hard topic but a very well done & interesting movie.

A horrible case, horribly told. Yes, their crimes were gruesome, but trying to make her not only innocent but sympathetic does the victims an injustice. I'd suggest reading any of the true crime books instead - get the details sans melodrama.

Absolutely fucked up. Sick. Twisted. I cannot even rate it. So horrible, because it's all accurate. Don't watch it.

It's kind of lifetime-ish. They don't go for it the way I wished they would have. This is a really horrifying true story and they could have done so much with it. It was entertaining and Laura Prepon was GOREGOUS in it. But she's never very good.

I've read nearly every book on Paul and Karla. Some parts were very accurate while the others parts made Karla the victim, when in fact she was just as much as a murder/rapist as Paul.

Apart from the obvious exploitation of horrific crimes not yet dead to history, why is a movie about murders in Ontario, Canada being shot in California?

The film does have a 'made for tv' feel but I thought it was worth watching, especially if you like true crime.

I just couldn't accept Laura as Karla. After too many years of watching that 70's show, i see her as a strong personality. Too strong to be bullied by her husband.
