Rather tedious, but 3 stars almost purely for the awesomeness that is David Niven. The Bruno staff, notably Mr Dodds, also went a long way in keeping my finger off the fast-forward button.

I love this movie! I would very much like to see it some other place than youtube. Vera-Ellen was amazing & very underrated.

Vera Ellen was wonderfully played Janet Jones who was accidentally involved in fake romance with millionaire BJ Bruno (who she thought Paul Tracey; an ordinary editor working for newspaper).
Bruno fell in love completely with Jones at his first sight. He kept playing his role as "Paul Tracey".
In the end she was fallen in love with him and didnt know he was the real Bruno til the end of her big show.

Very cute and romantic plot, Vera Ellen's so talented ballet dancer. I wish I cud see this in real broadway.

Love the dresses, costumes, very fashionably played and romantic :) Oh.. I love the stage too.. it was very pretty for 1951 era!

And again.. for 1951? Those dresses and outfit was very fascinating and very very fashionable thing to wear!! I can't beliv myself 1951 got much better fashion than 2000-ish.. ;p

It's very funny and I love David Niven. If you like the plot the same story was used in a danish film called "Pigen og vandpytten" the to movies are almost identical exept for the cast.

This is such a funny classic movie, with the beautiful dancer vera allen, and with david niven and cesar romerro. its such a sweet romantic comedy, full of ckeekiness :) 5+ stars!!

I thought it said it was a musical but there was really only one song. Other than tha though it was a great movie.

I was quite impressed and delighted by this movie! Simple but cute plot, romantic but not one that a guy would despise. I give it a yes!
