There are a number of uncredited cameos supporting movie-biz insider jokes. Well worth digging-up. (I found it in a box set of 10 Hope films for $15, so I guess I paid a buck-fifty for it ... super bargain!)

Great chemistry between Hope, Rogers and of course Russel. Best Roy Rogers movie, but doesn't sing nearly enough.

I need to see the first one- but if you like hokey western musicals, this one is right up your alley

A good introduction to the cowardly braggart that Hope did so well. A very, very funny film. Love the Harvard monograms. "I'm the CAPTAIN of the team!"

Moving from one hilarious set piece to the next, this really is Bob Hope at his finest and the final chase sequence is one of the funniest ever put on film. Music, laughs, action and romance all in one package. What more can you ask for?
