By far one of Jackies better films in my opinion, it starts off pretty slow but gradually picks up pace. The fight scenes are top notch as well!
Early period of Jackie Chan, one of the weakest movies he has; however, it is really funny.
This movie has some solid fight scenes that are not to be missed by any one who celebrates Jackie Chan's collection. It will not let you down in terms of mind blowing martial arts battles.

The fight scenes are well choreographed but the corresponding sound effects take away from the impressive moves being performed. Luckily, each fight is progressively better with hits actually connecting and Jackie Chan just kicking ass. The story is almost inconsequential as people just walk up to other people to initiate fights. Still, it was enjoyable once it got over the initial setup and just let everyone do their shit. It's just a shame the story's not as good as the fights, especially when it takes up a huge chunk of time in the beginning.

The story is good, and NOT rubbish like what some people are saying. But as with any martial arts film, what the heck are you doing expecting a story? Its a breath of fresh air to watch this kung fu classic, as its not a typical kung fu revenge type flick. And the superb fight at the end is so much fun to watch. So forget any of his American outings for the time being. Seek out The Young Master and my bet is is that you won't be disappointed.
Eh. Fighting seems very stiff and theatrical. Jokes not funny. All around not goodness.
After Drunken Master, this is one of Jackie's better works. Also, the boss battle at the end is one of the longest and best I've seen in a long time.
Very funny cute and all ouch action, much more than worth a watch; the dragon dance at the begining and probably the best fight scene ever ( over ten min) at the end with master kam
