It strives for nothing more than to excite and thrill its viewers, and the collective star power of Banderas, Hopkins and Zeta-Jones is enough to get the job done.
Visually rich with a nice blend of comedy, action and romance.
A little overlong in the middle act, though.
Hopkins is good; so is Banderas as Zorro-in-training, and Zeta-Jones sparkles in her scenes with him.
Enough reason to fall in love with Antonio Banderas, adorrrrrrrrrrrrre Catherine Zeta Johns, marvel at the awesome swordsman-ship and hope for a hero.
A good action movie starring Antonio Banderas and Anthony Hopkins. The story is good, the cast is good, the stunts ans the action are good, what more can you say?
A must see
A bit long winded, not a horrible movie but nothing great either. Back in the pinnacle of Zeta Jones hottness. And Anthony Hopkins must of been looking or a way to pay for a new swiss villa or something.
Un bon film d'aventures et cape et d'épées qui rapelle, à certains moments, la candeur des vieux films des années 50.
Good fun, with good comedy performances from the cast, especially Antonio Banderas & Catherine Zeta-Jones. The end gets a little silly with too many explosions but it's still a great throwback to the Errol Flynn swashbucklers of the 30's.
